PPLive is one of the next generation P2P programs that allows many users to share live streams, not files. These streams can contain any sort of media from the news to pornographic movies but one of the most common uses for this type of software is to enable you to watch live football matches and other sporting events on your PC. How To Use PPLive
Download PPLive using the following link Download PPLive
Double click the installer icon to install.
Select English and press OK
Deselect Desktop Icons and press Next. This will install PPLive onto your PC.
Click Finish.
If you have a firewall you will now see a number of warnings appear. Make sure that you grant access to each of these requests.
Eventually the PPLive player will appear. You can close this (X) as we are not going to use this to view channels.
In order to watch TV with PPLive we are going to need some channels to watch. The easiest way to find these is to use the internet. You are looking for clickable links that will start the channel for you. You can find a full listings guide for PPLive on this page:- Live Football Schedules

Click on the channel link
Depending on which browser you use you may be asked whether or not you wish to use an application. You should select to always use the application with links of that type in order to not be asked again in the future.
If this is the first channel you have selected you will see a number of firewall security messages.
Make sure you Allow each of these programs to access the internet.
The PPLive blue icon will appear in the tray area (bottom left by default) and start animating.
You can double click on this icon to see your connection status.
When enough of the stream has downloaded (buffered) Windows Media Player will then start and you will be watching the channel after a short delay.
If the buffer stays at 0% for more than a few minutes then that channel is not currently active, select another.
You can select a different channel by repeating from step 1.
When you have finished you must remember to close PPLive as well as media player. You can do this by right clicking on its icon and selecting Exit.
It may take several minutes in order for the picture quality to stabilise. In order to watch full screen you should select Windows Media Player and press Alt + Tab.

How To Use TVAnts

Download TVAnts using the following link:- TVAnts Download
Double click the installer icon to install.
The installer for TVAnts is in English and is very standard. Click the next button.
Use the default install location and click next again.
Make sure that both the main programs and ActiveX controls are selected and press next again.
Click next again to install TVAnts.
After a short time TVAnts will be installed, press Finish to exit the installer.
No icons are put on the desktop so in order to run TVAnts you will need to find its program folder in the start menu. Start > Programs >TVAnts > TVAnts
If you have a firewall, on first running a security alert will appear. Make sure that you allow TVAnts internet access.
To play a channel double click on it. The media player will then appear (you can cancel any request to login that may appear).

After a short delay (this can take 5 -10 minutes) whilst the channel buffers the channel will then appear. You can view the buffer status at the bottom of the viewer. If the buffer doesn't appear to move for a long time please try a different channel. The sound icon allows you to change the sound balance that may help to isolate an English commentary if one is available.
In order to view full screen you will need to right click on the viewer and select Zoom > Full Screen. Alt+Tab will return to the normal view. It is far more important with TVAnts (even more so than other P2P programs) to make sure that you are tuned into a stream early to give the program time to buffer.

Some Common Problems With TVAntsThere are no channels in my TVAnts channel list?Unfortunately when you first install TVAnts there is only one server as default (www.tvants.com) and this server is not always available. This is especialy true if you first try to use TVAnts on a Saturday match day afternoon. The easiest way to fix this channel problem is to add another channel server to TVAnts. I would recommend that you add fanshop.no-ip.info to the TVAnts channel server list.

No matter what I try I can't get a good picture with TVants?Assuming that you've followed the tips in the TVAnts FAQ then the other thing to think about is that TVAnts is based on "sharing" technology. In order for this to work users must share their streaming data and with TVAnts this requires that you open up a port on your router/hardware firewall. By default the port you need to forward/open is 16800 although this can be configured by selecting Tools, Settings and then the Share tab. To be safe it may be best to forward both TCP and UDP traffic to make the best use of TVAnts.

PPStream is extremely easy to use and produces smooth high quality streams for most users making it ideal for watching live football streams.
When downloading PPStream remember that it may be hosted on a Chinese server. The download speeds you will see will be far slower than you would normally expect so you will have to be patient.

Double click the installer icon to install.
On the first screen that appears click the LEFT button at the bottom.
On the next screen (install location), use the default location and click the MIDDLE button.
On the next screen (Shortcuts) click the MIDDLE button.
On the next 2 screens click the MIDDLE buttons.
On the next screen click the LEFT button.
If you have followed those instructions correctly PPStream will start to install.
Eventually you will presented with the completed screen.
Click the ONLY button, the top option is to view the PPStream website the bottom option is to launch PPStream.
PPStream will then start, if you have a firewall a security alert(s) will appear. Make sure that you allow PPStream to access the internet.
The main PPStream application is broken into 3 parts. The left side contains a channel list.
The middle section contains a media viewer.
Double click a channel on the left to watch it. After a few minutes buffering (you will see the percentage increase) the channel should then appear in the viewer. As a tip, channels that end in characters that look like "aoy" tend to be sports channels.
It is safe to close the right hand part of the PPStream application.
You can use Alt+Tab to view full screen.
